I have a trip from 11/9-11/20 If i did a room only from 11/9-11/13 and get a 10 day park hopper pass with the dining plan on 11/13-11/20--- can i use the park hopper pass from the second trip on the days prior? or not until the 2nd chk-in date?

Unfortunately that wouldn't work. You will receive your park tickets upon check-in at the resort, so you would not have your tickets for the first 5 days of your vacation.

There are a couple of options here, but they involve a bit of calculating to see what is the most financially sensible. You'd need to compare:

    • the cost of planning one trip checking in on the 9th and paying for dining out of pocket
    • one trip with the dining plan
    • two separate check-ins (as you said), but buying 5 day park tickets each time. 2nd check in would get you free dining, but there would be an increased ticket cost buying tickets twice.
A travel agent who specializes in Disney vacations would be helpful for you here. Because they are familiar with Disney, they've run these scenarios many times and would easily able to help you find the best option for your family.

    Good luck!
