We have a trip planner for the first week of April 2021. We have resort reservations but no park tickets yet. If I purchase them now so I can reserve the parks we want to go to, are they refundable in case we decide not to due Covid? TIA

    Heigh-Ho Sara,

I am excited to hEAR of your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. I am going to send much pixie dust your way, hoping we will welcome you Home in April.

Staying at a Walt Disney World Resort immerses you into an epic Disney Magic vacation.  Each Walt Disney World Resort is made up of its own unique qualities and enhances your entire experience. Guests who have booked, a Walt Disney World Resort or Package, between now and April 30, 2021, fall into the flexible cancellation policy. Guests can modify or sadly cancel their Walt Disney World Resort or Package up to the date of check-in or before April 30, 2021.

However, if you purchase your Walt Disney World tickets separately, and not through your Walt Disney World Resort package, your tickets will be non-refundable but can be used at a later date. My advice is to contact a Cast Member, at the Disney Reservation Center, and include the tickets in with your Walt Disney World Resort, so you are able to have a full refund if it comes to it.

Stay up to date with new and exciting things happening, at Walt Disney World, by visiting the Disney Parks Blog and stay current with what to expect during your visit through the Know Before You Go page Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney and if we can be of any further assistance ask away. Wishing on a star we see you in April Sara, so you can have many magical and memorable moments.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
