Hi Colette,
After planning your vacation for so long and looking forward to your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort for more than a year, it sounds like you've been blessed with a completely different kind of magic and fun! Congratulations on your new bundle of joy!
Since you'll have such a young Mouseketeer, I'd encourage you to check with your doctor to see what he or she would advise concerning both you
and your little one! I've seen young babies at Walt Disney World, but I've also seen people vomiting, coughing, etc., and your doctor would be the ideal one to help you make the decision about what's best for your family's health.
If you do decide to postpone your vacation, my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist Ritzy did a fabulous job explaining the
different types of reservations and their corresponding cancellation policies. If you decide to keep your vacation as planned, I'd encourage you to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers located in all four theme parks. They're a quiet, cool respite where you may nurse, change, or feed your little one, plus they have baby care items for sale in case you run out of diaper wipes or some other item that you really don't want to go without!
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Colette! Whether you decide to come as originally planned or move your vacation back a bit, I hope that you and your growing family have a truly magical experience!
Missy
