Hi Joshua!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Being able to use Disney’s complimentary transportation system is yet another reason my family enjoys traveling to Walt Disney World. Since at home I am constantly driving four children around in my mini-van, I feel like a Disney bus driver on a daily basis. While on vacation, I like to sit back, relax, and leave the driving to Disney!
If you will be staying at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, the only method of transportation from the resort to the theme parks is via Disney’s bus system. There are multiple bus stops at the resort, so no matter which area of the resort you are staying in there should be a bus stop within a short walk from your building. Busses for each of the theme parks, water parks and Downtown Disney will come to your bus stop to transport you safely to your destination. Busses do not run on a set schedule, since factors such as traffic patterns or loading of passengers can vary, but as a general rule, busses come approximately every 20 minutes. To get to the Magic Kingdom, simply board a Magic Kingdom bus.
If you are already at Epcot, and would like to park hop to the Magic Kingdom, you will take the
Monorail. The Monorail will first take you to the Ticket and Transportation Center where you will change Monorail lines to get to the Magic Kingdom. For my family, riding the Monorail is one of our favorite attractions!
Feel free to ask any additional questions you have as you plan your fall trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. My goal is to help you make your vacation as magical as possible!
Have a Disney Day!
