I have a trip planned in October. My family and I will be at magic kingdom on October 5. That night Boo Bash will take place. Do I need to pay for an additional ticket for that event? If so, does everyone in my party need a ticket bought for them?

Hi there, Paul! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your October vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

Autumn is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! The weather tends to be a bit cooler and there are so many different, fun offerings that you can enjoy! One of the classic options that remain incredibly popular is the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. This delicious event invites Guests to sample cuisines from around the world as they learn about the cultures these flavors come from!

An all-new special event, Disney After Hours Boo Bash, will be running on select nights between August 10th and October 31st! This frightful event will feature Halloween-themed character cavalcades, exclusive entertainment, and trick-or-treating throughout the park. It’s certainly not something you want to miss if you are a fan of all things Halloween!

Disney After Hours Boo Bash is considered a special event and is separately ticketed from general theme park entry. So, you and your family will need tickets if you intend on staying for this event. However, you may also choose to have a shorter day and leave prior to the beginning of the event. My family and I will sometimes choose this option on days we need a bit more rest or when we want to Park Hop to another theme park!

If you are interested in attending Disney After Hours Boo Bash, you will need to purchase a special event ticket for each member of your party. Tickets for this event will be released on June 15th for general Guests and June 8th for Guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels. So, be sure to mark your calendars!

I hope this information assists you as you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions as well!
