We have a trip planned for june and was wondering if there was benefits for people with disabilities such as getting ahead of the line

Hi Sarai! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

The Disneyland Resort is dedicated to being a welcoming and inclusive destination for all Guests, including those with disabilities. I've visited the parks with family members with disabilities, and I've also visited when I temporarily needed a mobility aid. My experiences have been incredibly positive.

Your first stop should be the Accessibility page, which has useful information for Guests with disabilities. As you scroll down the page, you'll find tabs tailored to different disabilities. Click a tab to find great tools, guides, and accommodation information. For example, my uncle, who is a blind veteran, is triggered by unexpected loud noises. You'll find a Sensory Experience Details guide under the Neurodivergent tab, which we've found helpful during our visits. With the provided information, we can judge which Attractions might be better skipped and which we can all experience as a family. Your group's needs will shape what resources are right for you.

Looking over this information in advance can help make for a smoother park day, but you're also welcome to speak to a helpful Cast Member at any time if you have questions about enjoying the parks. Drop by the Accessibility Services Kiosk in the Esplanade between the parks to discuss how your group might best access Attractions. They'll have solutions suited to your needs.

For some groups, Disability Access Service is the best solution. Currently, this service is intended for those who are autistic or have a similar disability and have difficulty waiting in a traditional queue. It doesn't skip the line, but it does provide a return time, using the Disneyland mobile app, which allows eligible Guests and their group to experience other areas of the parks while they wait. Maybe that's a snack in a quiet area or enjoying some entertainment. Maybe it's strolling through a shop. It's up to you! If you believe this is the correct service for your group's needs, you can have this discussion in person at the Accessibility Services Kiosk, or you can chat online with a friendly Cast Member, so long as the eligible Guest is also available for the chat. Either way is a convenient choice. They'll make the determination on whether DAS is the correct solution and suggest alternatives if appropriate.

Your visit is right around the corner! Have you checked out the Daily Events Schedule yet? If you'd like to plan around certain must-dos like parades, fireworks, or shows, this schedule has the details you'll want! While details are subject to change or cancellation, you can sketch out your day around these key activities to maximize the fun.

I hope you have a magical day!
