Trip planned 4/l5-22. Flight leaves at 8:30pm on 22nd. We were gonna have that day a disney Springs day. If we don’t get rise of res boarding pass for the day we currently have HS scheduled for, can we add another day on our tickets to try again?

    Hi Christina,

Thank you for visiting us here at planDisney!  It sounds like you are well prepared for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.  My family and I love spending our last day at Disney Springs, enjoying the atmosphere and picking up some last minute souvenirs.

It is a great idea to have a backup plan in case you aren't successful in acquiring a Boarding Group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance on your first try.  Guests are able to add another day to their Theme Park Tickets as long as there is at least one day remaining on your Theme Park Ticket and it is still within the window that your Tickets are valid.  Please keep in mind that you will also be responsible for the difference in price when modifying your Theme Park Tickets. If you need to add an additional day to your Theme Park Tickets simply head to the Concierge in the lobby of your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or Guest Services outside of any one of the four Theme Parks.

If by chance you don't secure a Boarding Group prior to entry into Disney's Hollywood Studios on the 21st, you may need to make a decision for what the last two days of your vacation will look like.  You could try again for the second round of Boarding Groups that day, or modify your Theme Park Tickets by adding an extra day before starting your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Once you are in the Theme Park, there are technically no more days left on your Theme Park Tickets and you will need to purchase a One-Day Theme Park Ticket which would cost significantly more.  Another option would be to rearrange your days and head to Disney Springs on the 21st and then to Disney's Hollywood Studios on your last day, giving you another chance at securing a boarding pass with your existing Theme Park Tickets. Hopefully you will not need to weigh these options, and you and your family will be battling the First Order after securing a Boarding Group on your first try.

I hope that helps Christina.  If you have any other questions, please let us know, we are always happy to help.
