We have trip planned with our family of 9 in Feb 2026. I would like to reserve a mobility scooter from disneyland, how do I do this?

Welcome to planDisney, Leslie! Planning a February 2026 visit sounds like an exciting adventure. Making sure everyone is comfortable can go a long way toward creating a smooth, enjoyable Disneyland experience.

If a mobility scooter (also known as an Electric Conveyance Vehicle, or ECV) would be helpful during your visit, you’ll be happy to know that Disneyland offers both ECV and wheelchair rentals. These are available at the mobility rental locations located just outside the main entrances to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Because the rental area is outside the parks, you’ll pick up your ECV before entering and return it to the same location at the end of your day.

It’s important to note that ECV and wheelchair rentals at Disneyland are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and quantities are limited. For that reason, I recommend arriving near park opening, especially when visiting with a larger group. Think of it as setting yourself up for success before heading off toward your first attraction of the day.

If you’re staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels, you may also want to explore renting through ScooterBug, a third-party mobility provider. ScooterBug offers length-of-stay rentals and delivers ECVs, wheelchairs, and strollers directly to your hotel. Many Guests appreciate this option because it allows them to use the same ECV throughout their entire stay, including while traveling between the hotel, Downtown Disney, and the parks. It can also remove the pressure of needing to arrive early each morning to secure a rental.

While navigating the parks, building in moments to rest and recharge can make a big difference. Disneyland has plenty of peaceful spots perfect for a short break. The shaded seating near Stage Door Café in Frontierland offers a relaxing view of the Rivers of America. In Fantasyland, the area near Edelweiss Snacks provides a calm place to pause while listening to the Matterhorn waterfalls. Over in Disney California Adventure, the benches near Grizzly River Run feel wonderfully tucked away among towering pine trees.

Leslie, I hope this helps you feel confident as you plan a comfortable and enjoyable visit for your family. If you’d like additional tips tailored to your group’s pace or interests, please visit us again at planDisney. We’re always delighted to help you plan magical moments.

Wishing you a smooth, comfortable, and memory-filled Disneyland day!
