Bright Suns, Tyler! Your trip to Batuu and Black Spire Outpost is quickly approaching, and I know you are anxious to make reservations to meet with the gatherers to
build a lightsaber. At this time, I see that the reservations through the entire month of October are open for both Savi’s Workshop and
Droid Depot, which means you should be able to make a reservation any day now.
I know the waiting is the worst, but be patient, young Jedi. The wait is worth it.
I visited Droid Depot on opening day of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and built my very own R2 unit. He is mostly purple and his name is R2-QT. Try to get an early reservation for this, as the droids interact with different things throughout Batuu and it’s a ton of fun!
Be sure to use the force and try to secure your boarding group for Rise of the Resistance promptly at 7am on your Disneyland Park day. Also, say hi to my buddy DJ R-3X at
Oga’s Cantina while you sip a Fuzzy Tauntaun or a Hyperdrive (Punch It!) - my personal favorite.
