We have a trip planned to Disney with our kids and grandkids. If I want to pay for some of their meals can I do that separately from the wristbands or do I need to link their bands to my credit card?

    Hiya, Maria!

While I absolutely loved traveling to Walt Disney World with my daughters when they were kids, having grandkids to bring to enjoy the magic of Disney takes things next level. These are - for sure - some of my favorite vacations.

The MagicBands are definitely a convenient way to access the theme parks and pay for meals and souvenirs, you do not have to link their MagicBands to your credit card in order to pay for some of their dining experiences. If you will be enjoying those dining experiences with them, you can pay by whatever means you prefer - using your MagicBand, paying by credit card or cash, or even by paying with a Disney Gift Card at most locations. If the kids and grandkids will be on their own, and you just want to cover some of their meals while they are touring the theme parks without you, you may want to give them a Disney Gift Card to cover the amount you are wanting to contribute.

I hope your family has the most amazing time creating some magical memories together, Maria! It sounds like a fabulous family vacation is about to happen.
