Hi. I have a trip planned. We have always had a tradition of going to Ohana however my husband can no longer eat a lot and it’s $$$. Does the Tambu lounge serve Ohana noodles and other items from the Ohana menu? TIA

Aloha Heidi, and welcome to planDisney!

You are absolutely right that in order to make the most of those iconic family-style meals at Walt Disney World Resort, you'll definitely want to come with a big enough appetite to enjoy it all at that price! When it comes to a place like 'Ohana, even I've found myself craving everything on the menu from the noodles, wings and dumplings to all of the grilled meats that lead to that signature 'Ohana Bread Pudding - without being necessarily hungry enough to commit to eating so much!

I popped by Disney's Polynesian Village Resort recently to see what we could get from the menu at Tambu Lounge to fill that need for some Polynesian-inspired Disney Eats:

    • Just be aware that tables are limited and currently you'll have to wait for a Cast Member to seat you; this is a great opportunity to check to see whether any items have changed, confirm what may or may not be available and ask whether it's at all possible to order anything that might not be listed like the 'Ohana Bread Pudding. (This cannot be guaranteed but in my personal experience in the past, we've been successful in ordering 'Ohana noodles as a "secret menu" item before it was officially added.)
I hope this helps, Heidi! Don't hesitate to come back to planDisney for any other tips or advice ahead of your next trip, especially when it comes to these great Disney Eats that become such a key tradition whenever we visit!

    Mahalo!
