Hi. We have a trip with a package to Disney World planned for the end of January 2023. I know must pay the balance 30 days out. Can I pay in cash when we check in and get a refund on the credit card I used.

Hi, Donna! It's a pleasure to see you here at planDisney...welcome back!

January is a terrific time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. After the holiday and Marathon Weekend guests have gone home, the crowd levels become much more tolerable. Speaking of tolerable, the average temperature in January ranges from 51 degrees to 72 degrees...amazing! But my favorite reason to visit in late January is the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. The focus on artistry in presentation and design makes this festival a standout. Even something as simple as a cookie becomes as magical as an artist's palate!

I can tell you're a Disney vacation pro, Donna! The final payment of your Walt Disney World Vacation Package is due 30 days before check-in. When I spoke to a Reservations Agent today, she said you can certainly pay in cash at your resort's front desk; however, it may take up to 10 days before you see a refund on your credit card statement.

Don't forget that as a Walt Disney World Resort hotel guest, you are eligible for Early Theme Park Entry, and you can get a 30-minute jump on your Disney day available at all four Walt Disney World theme parks. I'm also a big fan of Extended Evening Theme Park Hours if you happen to be staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort Hotel or a Disney Deluxe Villa. These are both ways to maximize your time in the parks!

I hope you have a magical time next year, Donna! The planDisney Panel hopes to see ya real soon!
