Trip is 9/18-9/27. I may have to travel the 1st day of our trip alone w/D(5) & S(3);spouse will join us 2nd day. Is the Garden Grill a good place to dine alone w/2 kids for dinner? what about Teppen Edo? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I often travel alone with my daughters - any combination of them - due to my husband's work schedule, so I'm a bit of an old pro at taking the kids without my spouse.  I absolutely love the Garden Grill, and think it's a good setting to go alone with kids.  You can sit on one side of the bench while the kids sit on the other side, and you'll have great pictures to share with your spouse the next day!

My kids have also really loved the new T-Rex in Downtown Disney, and I've done that without my husband.  I just keep the four year old next to me, as she gets a little frightened during the "meteor shower" that rouses the dinosaurs.  You could also do the Sci-Fi Dine In at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Teppan Edo is one of our favorites, although it's harder to take pictures of the kids, since you'll be positioned right next to them.

I try not to do the buffets with my girls by myself.  It's hard for me to balance everything I need to balance, and I won't leave them sitting alone at a table, so it would mean getting their plates, then bringing them back up to get mine, and their food gets cold - or vice versa.  If you can put off any of the buffets until you have help, that's what I would do.

    Have a great trip!
