Our 1st trip is march 8th-13th...have room held at POP but wondering if I should change it to CBR. I like the idea of saving the money but also like the idea of a little more amenities. Should I stay with POP or upgrade? Thanks for helping with our trip!

    Hi Nicole,

I've stayed at both and enjoyed each.  You mentioned that this is your first trip.  If you're anticipating a packed agenda with most of your time being spent in the parks and little hotel time, then I'd recommend staying at POP.  You'll save money, and still enjoy the benefits of staying onsite and the fabulous Disney theming.

On the other hand, the amenities at the moderate resorts are significant compared to the value resorts.  I recently had the opportunity to tour the Caribbean Beach Resort, and it's really fantastic.  Rooms have been renovated, and if you're traveling with a pirate fan, you might want to consider upgrading to one of the newly designed Pirates of the Caribbean themed rooms. The newly re-done pool area is has something for everyone, with two slides, a zero-entry kiddie pool with its own slide and fountains.

I recommend weighing the pros and cons of each, and know that whichever you choose, you're sure to have a great trip!
