Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    This is our 12th trip we know nothing about the Yacht club resort. We have stayed at every resort on the Monorail & decided to make a last minute trip 2 days ago & this is all they had.  Info needed?

    Hi Paul,

    We just stayed at the Yacht Club for the first time this past October and had a blast. We have stayed at the neighboring Beach Club numerous times and I can tell you this is a perfect location and a fantastic set of resorts. The resort is located behind the Epcot World Showcase entrance and allows for easy access to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios by walking or by a short boat ride.

    Yacht Club is home to two delicious restaraunts, Yachtsman Steak Club and the Yacht Club Gallery and in our opinion, the best resort pool on WDW property, Stormalong Bay. The massive white sand bottom pool features a whirlpool, sunken ship water slide, hot tubs, lazy river and more. You will find an old fashion ice cream shop, Beaches and Cream and a poolside counter service, Hurricane Hanna's are available for your poolside munchies. In the afternoon, the pool is a great place for some fun family activites and most evenings they offer movies on the beach next to the pool. On the resort's property, you will find a health club, arcade and a full service salon, Periwig's. 

    The resort is within walking distance of the Boardwalk resort, where you will find numerous shops, clubs and restaraunts as well as free family entertainement in the evenings. I am sure you will find you and your family love the location and amenities that this resort has to offer! Wishing you a magical trip!
