1st trip w/ 3 kids 9, 6 & 2. I scheduled 4 character meals 1900 Park Fare dinner on Mon nite arrival, Hollywood & Vine Tues lunch, Chef Mickey Wed dinner (w/ extended fam) & Chef Mickey Friday breakfast (leaving for home) Did I over plan?

    Hi Amy,

I do not think you have too many character meals planned.  I love booking character meals because:
    1. You have to eat.
    2. You accomplish seeing four or five characters in a short amount of time.
    3. You are in air conditioning.
    4. You have to eat.

My concerns for your trip is for the first night meal.  When are you arriving into Orlando?  My children do not adjust well on the first day so I would not schedule a meal for my family unless I have about a four hour window between touchdown in my hotel and dinner.  This way I am not stressing about making the dinner reservation. However, you need to do what works for your family.

My other concern is visiting Chef Mickey's twice.  You will have the same experience both times so I do not know if you want to go to a different character meal for breakfast.  Some options are Crystal Palace for Pooh or Cape May Cafe (Yacht and Beach Club) for Goofy and Friends or Ohana (Polynesian) for Lilo and Stitch.

    Have a wonderful trip!
