1st trip Jan, 6 night, do all 4 parks (MK 2Xs) plus IOA 6 days straight then depart for PA early Sat AM OR take 1 day break in middle to rest/see resorts and visit AK Sat departure day, leave for PA late afternoon (driving/hotel PM). Advice?

Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World Vacation, Vicki! This is a great question! Based on my own personal experience, I would highly recommend that you take a break from park touring in the middle of your vacation to regroup and enjoy your resort as well as the other beautiful properties!  I have found firsthand that spending three consecutive days in the theme parks is too much for my family of six. I think Disney's Animal Kingdom Park is an excellent choice for your departure day as my family is usually able to experience most of our "must see" attractions in approximately six hours. I definitely feel like you will enjoy your vacation much more if you schedule that much needed Resort Day (non-park day) in the middle of your vacation to slow down and enjoy all that a Walt Disney World Vacation has to offer outside of the theme parks. I hope this information helps in making your decision. Please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any additional questions. I would love to assist you in planning a Magical first trip, Vicki!
    Happy Planning,
