2nd trip to DW 12/19/10 to 12/26/10, driving from SC. Should arrive at CR around 1:00. Traveling with DS (12) and DD (9) do you think DisneyQuest would be a good idea for our first night? Also any restuarant recommendations for Downtown?

Hi Casey! The countdown is on! I think Downtown Disney and DisneyQuest are the perfect start to your vacation! Spending time at Downtown Disney is our first day tradition, saving the parks for our first full day. My daighter and I aren't huge gamers, and we absolutely love DisneyQuest. When you're there, be sure to head straight to CyberSpace Mountain. And don't miss the Virtual Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean and Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters.

If your looking for a quick service dining spot, then be sure to go the Wolfgang Puck Express. Here, you enjoy the fabulous food of the world famous chef, in a reasonable, counter service atmosphere. To complete first night tradition, we always head to the Raglan Road Pub. The fish and chips and "It's Not Bleedin' Chowder" are delicious, and my daughter loves the Irish dancers and live music.

Wishing you a magical vacation Casey!
