Welcome to planDisney, Vianey! I can't think of a better way to ring in the New Year than by participating in the upcoming
Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. As Hercules says, I know you'll be ready to "Go the Distance!"
Since the Parks reopened in 2020, the Character Cavalcades have been extremely popular with Guests. These "mini parades" bring magical character sightings into Parks, and I love the fact that you don't have to queue up for hours to get a good viewing spot! As you mentioned, it's easy to check the
My Disney Experience app for cavalcade schedules; click on the location icon at the bottom of your screen and choose "Entertainment" under the dropdown arrow and then select "Show List." In the upper left corner, you can filter by Park. I just checked my
app (not the website), and A Royal Princess Processional still occurs several times a day at
Magic Kingdom Park, although schedules are always subject to change. When I was there last week, we saw Disney royalty, including Merida, Tiana, Rapunzel, Belle, Ariel, Aurora, Snow White, Elena, Jasmine, Cinderella, and the Fairy Godmother. I like to stand and watch near Splash Mountain in Frontierland, but there's no wrong spot!
However, I did confirm with a Cast Member that the Princess Promenade Character Cavalcade is no longer happening
EPCOT; this one featured several
Disney princesses in an open wagon. Don't fret, though, because these lovely ladies are set up in socially distanced meet and greets around World Showcase. I was able to get a quick selfie from afar with Belle just the other day! Here are the ones featured under Entertainment (in the app) in EPCOT, although no times are listed:
Anna and Elsa – (Norway pavilion)
Alice – (UK pavilion)
Belle – (Between France and Morocco pavilions)
Jasmine – (Morocco pavilion)
Mulan – (China pavilion)
Snow White – (Germany pavilion)
I hope you have a magical race weekend, Vianey! Please write back if there's anything else we can do to help.
