Hi, this will be our 2nd trip to Disney. Is the memory maker worth the money? I am nervous that we will be very limited in our photo ops. Not being able to get spur of the moment candid shots and always having to look for Disney photographers.

    Hi, Larry!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm going to give you my personal opinion of Memory Maker: It's one of my favorite services of Disney Parks. Every time I have taken my family to Walt Disney World Resort, I've felt less pressure to snag photos of the family by myself and instead rely on the PhotoPass Photographers to do it for me. If I notice a candid moment, I pull out my phone and take the photo. (And often, they are fantastic photos.) But when my family rides on attractions, walks through the parks or even when we have some special meals or dessert parties, we have Disney photographer to help capture our whole family. Plus, there are times when the photographers can add "magic" to the shots. Those are a lot of fun.

When we visit Walt Disney World Resort for quick trips, I go out of my way to stop the family and snag a photo when I see a PhotoPass Photographer. But on longer trips, we pick and choose when we ask for a photo. In the end, the combination of photos from our Memory Maker and on our phones leads to an incredibly unforgettable collection of pictures.

I believe in investing in the Memory Maker to help me feel less pressure to always take photos. I also love it because our whole family gets into the pictures. In the past, I'm often missing because I'm the family photography expert.

I hope that insight helps! Let me know if I can help with any other questions before you arrive!
