1st trip to Disney! My husband & I are taking 23 mo.old twins, 5 & 8 yr old. Convenience is #1 priority! I've convinced myself we must stay in a resort w/ the monorail. Any advice on which one? Also, could we fit in a room or must we splurge for a

    Hi there Jessica!

How exciting to be planning your first Walt Disney World vacation!  I think you are very wise to consider the location and convenience when choosing a Disney Resort hotel. Your family dynamic sounds exactly like mine. As a mom of four children including a set of twins, I would personally have to recommend Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Having stayed at all three of the resorts that are on the Resort monorail line, I prefer the tropical theming, dining options  and spacious guest rooms at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

The end of your question was cut off, but I think you are asking if your family can fit into one guest room.  I just called the Walt Disney Travel Company to verify my information for you. The standard guest rooms at all three of the resorts that are on the Resort monorail line will accommodate five Guests plus one child under the age of 3. Your family should definitely be able to stay in one of the rooms at any of the three resorts in question as long as your twins are under the age of 3. My family actually stayed at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort when our twins were two-years-old and loved the convenience of taking the monorail to Magic Kingdom Park and being able to easily return to the resort for an afternoon nap.

I hope this information is helpful in making the best decision for your family. Please don't hesitate to visit us again with any additional questions that you may have. I would love to assist you further in the planning of a magical first trip, Jessica!

    Happy Planning,
