Family With Medals; RunDisney 10K; Stitch Hat; Lilo and Stitch Costume

    This is our 3rd trip to disney and we do the same character meals everytime. We usually do Chef Mickey's, Epcot Princess Story Book Dining, and Crystal Palace. I was really disappointed with Cinderellas Royal Table. Any suggestions on character dining?

    Hi Jennifer,

    I'm not sure of the ages of your children or if they're boys or girls but here are some of my families favourite character restaurants in Disney World.

    • 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian for dinner. The characters here are normally Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and the Step-Sisters. The food here is lovely and the character interaction is so much fun, especially the Step-Sisters, they always have my girls in hysterics.
    • Garden Grill in Epcot. This family style restaurant rotates slowly through part of the Land ride and the characters are normally Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale. They have always spent lots of time with my family having fun and mucking around.
    • 'Ohana for breakfast at the Polynesian. Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto are normally found here, normal breakfast food, including Mickey waffles, is served and the juice is delicious. The characters take part in a little parade during your meal which the children can join in too.

    If you have young children then another option is the Playhouse Disney meal at the Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Although I've never been as my children are too old I've heard good reports on it.
