    For our trip in 12-2015 we want to do the deluxe dining and use it towards the table services that require 2 credits each as well as dinner shows. If our trip is booked and at 180 days I start making res. do I still need to pay out of pocket or use DP?

    Hi Erin!

    Happy New Year and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It's always great to help out returning Guests.   I see you are thinking of the Deluxe Dining Plan when you visit Walt Disney World later this year.  I think the Deluxe option is great, especially if you love to enjoy the fabulous Signature dining experiences and fun dinner shows that require two Table Service Disney Dining credits.

    Erin, some meals and experiences do require prepayment even if you are planning on using the Disney Dining Plan to pay for your meals.  Prepayment is required at Cinderella's Royal Table, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show and Mickey's Backyard BBQ .  If you book at one of these establishments and plan on using your Disney Dining Plan to pay for the meal, just let your server know you will be using the Dining Plan and they will gladly refund the card used to pay for the meal and deduct the appropriate number of Disney Dining Plan credits from your account. Be sure to bring that original credit card with you to the meal so it can be refunded.
