1st trip DDH, DD, 10, and DD, 6, if only want to plan for 1 dinner show, would you do the Polynesian or the Hoop Dee Do Musical Revue? Also, bkft adr at crt at 10:00, is it possible to get makeover at BBB before? Thanks! This site is wonderful!!!

If you can get a reservation, it is possible to have makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. The BBB is steps away from Cinderella's Royal Table, so you don't have to factor in travel time. The BBB makeovers generally take about half an hour. So, if you got a reservation at 9:00 a.m. or earlier, you could be all set for your CRT check-in. To check BBB availability, you should call 407-WDW-STYLE.

As for the dinner shows, I have done both several times. I very much prefer the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. In my opinion, the food at the HDDR is of better quality than at the Spirit of Aloha Luau. I also enjoy the show more, especially for kids. While there is one small part of the Luau where guests can learn a hula move or two, most of the show is non-participatory. At the HDDR, the cast members come into the audience several times to ask for input from the guests. There is also a part where the two halves of the audience compete to see who can make the most noise. Kids usually love this. Also, the HDDR is just plain more fun. There are silly jokes and familiar sing-along songs and lots of laughter. The dancers at the luau are very talented, but the story in between the dances falls flat to me. I'm sure others on the panel would make the opposite argument, but that's my two cents.
