Hi! Trip with DH and DD2 12/2 thru 12/11 All Star Movies. Have tix to MVMCP 12/2. DD LOVES Mickey and we want to go to character brkfast for last day. Have 4:00 flight 12/11. Which one is easier to get to since we will have to checkout & catch ME

    Lori,

So many things I love about your question...

    1) Staying at All Star Movies - great choice.  It's my favorite family-friendly value resort.
    2) We are going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) on the exact same date.  I'm hoping this is a lighter attended party.  Let's keep it a secret - OK?
    3) You are planning for a fun and relaxed last day at WDW -- a very good idea!

Best Mickey meal for your family? It's a no-brainer. Go to Chef Mickey's.  I mean it's the Main Mouse's place - what could be better for your 2-year-old daughter that's a Mickey fan?  You have plenty of time for a relaxing breakfast, since your time for catching ME should be around 1:00 (give or take a little).  Another bonus: Chef Mickey's also won't require you to purchase a park ticket, since it is at the Contemporary Resort, and not inside one of the parks.

I'd suggest making a reservation for breakfast around 9:30 or 10:00 am.  Assuming 10 am, you can check-out and store your luggage (or check it in for your flight), and then take the Disney bus to the Magic Kingdom ("MK") at 8:45ish.  That timing should be very safe - you'll likely be early and have time to visit the resort.  At the MK, you will need to take the "Resort Monorail" one stop to the Contemporary (maybe you could ride up front - a great last day activity!).  Breakfast takes about an hour, so you should easily be done by 11:30 am (includes time for a possible wait, and photo).  Afterwards you can burn off those Mickey waffles by taking a nice and short (10 minutes) walk back to the MK. Don't take the monorail unless you have a lot of spare time - it will have to make the full round trip before reaching the Magic Kingdom. From the MK you can catch the bus back to All Stars.  You'll easily be there by 12:45.

Hope that helps, and remember our little secret, OK?!
