My trip is coming up soon and I know you have to have your trip paid for 30 days before arrival, but if I were to add After Hours tickets do they also need to be paid 30 days in advance? Or could I purchase them after that 30 day period before my trip?

Hi there, Kendall! Thanks for bringing your great question to planDisney.

Can you believe that your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is only a few weeks away? I'm so excited for you! Before you know it, you'll be walking down Main Street, U.S.A., and gazing at Cinderella Castle. Just when I think your trip couldn't be any more magical, it sounds like you're looking to add an extra touch of pixie dust to your vacation with the addition of Disney After Hours

Kendall, I'm also so happy that there will be Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney After Hours at EPCOT available next year. This is a great way to stay immersed in the magic by hopping on your favorite attractions, enjoying complimentary ice cream and popcorn, and experiencing the glow of the parks late at night! What could be better than that? These Disney After Hours special event tickets can be purchased separately from your vacation package. You're exactly right – the full amount of your vacation package (which includes a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and tickets) is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. When you decide to purchase your Disney After Hours tickets, that purchase can be made separately and will be paid in full at the time of purchase. I'd recommend purchasing these tickets as soon as you're sure you'd like to attend since this is a popular event and dates can get booked in advance!

Before you arrive, take a little time to download the My Disney Experience app, too! This app will allow you to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, mobile order food, and access virtual queues. This way, you won't miss a minute of the magic! And of course, if you have any other questions, please write to us again. I'm wishing on a star that your upcoming trip is an extra special one!

    See ya real soon,
