Trip booked for May 9-18. How will the crowds be at this time? Any parks to go or avoid on certain days? Don't have a hopper but do have water park option. Thanks, love reading all the tips and advice on this panel.

Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Dorothy! Thank you so much for the kind words!  It is truly a pleasure to answer all of your Walt Disney World vacation planning questions!  The unofficial website allears.net features a Historic Attendance Levels Chart and categorizes early to mid May as "moderate attendance." I have visited during this exact time of year and found the crowds to be minimal. If you will be staying at a Walt DIsney World Resort, you may want to consider visiting the park that is offering Morning Extra Magic Hours. My family has found that we are able to experience many of our favorite attractions with little to no wait during Morning Extra Magic Hours. On the other hand, we often avoid the park offering Evening Extra Magic Hours. I have found the park offering Evening Extra Magic Hours to be quite crowded and prefer to avoid that park when possible. Follow this link to view the Park Hours for your dates of travel. My family loves the DIsney Water Parks and have visited both Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon many, many times. Disney Water Parks offer unique theming, exciting attractions, and beautiful landscaping! Based on my own personal experience, I usually avoid the water parks on Saturday, but have found Sunday and weekdays to be very manageable in regards to crowd levels.  I hope this information helps!  Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical "crowd free" trip, Dorothy!
    Happy Planning,
