Royal greetings, Robert!
A warm welcome to planDisney. We're delighted you've stopped by with a question about your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort holiday. Soon, you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth - are you ready to enter a world filled with wonder and enchantment!? I'd be thrilled to help you prepare for your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, and hopefully to assist you with coordinating some
magical meals during your vacation.
Robert, many restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort
accept advance dining reservations. These bookings can be made up to 60 days in advance, and Guests staying at eligible Disney Resort hotels may book reservations for their length-of-stay, up to 10 days! Dining reservations are made available at approximately 6:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (approximately 11:00 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time) 60 days in advance, so you're currently well within your booking window, Robert. You may choose to
make dining bookings online on the Walt Disney World Resort website, or by calling the friendly Cast Members at the
Dining Reservations phone line for assistance.
If you aren't seeing the dining reservations you were hoping for, not to worry, Robert. Many restaurants offer walk-up availability, so you're welcome to check with the Cast Member at the host stand of any Table-Service restaurant once you arrive on-site. (Please note that Guests must have the appropriate theme park admission to access dining experiences located within a theme park.) Once you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, you may also download the My Disney Experience mobile app and access the Mobile Dine Walk-Up feature to add your party to the walk-up list remotely!
Robert, in addition to the many, many Table-Service restaurants on property, you'll also find an abundance of
Quick-Service offerings that don't require any pre-planning. Some of my favorite Quick-Service dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort are Capt. Cook's at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Flame Tree Barbecue and Satu'li Canteen at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, and Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe at Magic Kingdom Park! You'll also be visiting during the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which means you'll be able to snack your way around the
Food Studios surrounding World Showcase - no reservations required!
I hope you've found these suggestions helpful, Robert. I wish you a fun-filled holiday complete with marvelous meals! If you have any additional questions before or during your visit, you're always welcome to revisit us at
planDisney. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Warm wishes,
Lauren
