Hello there, Jennifer!
My nephew has more than four food allergies, and I love knowing that the Walt Disney World Resort is so accommodating when it comes to providing options for
special dietary requests. It’s so sweet seeing his reaction when he finds a special treat that is not only delicious but safe for him to eat.
Jennifer, you can make advanced dining reservations for table-service restaurants, but you can’t make reservations for quick-service locations, so don’t worry about adding your desired quick-service locations to the special dietary request form. Besides emailing the Special Diets team at
Speacial.Diets@DisneyWorld.com, I recommend
calling a friendly Cast Member with the team to see if they can talk through specific allergens.
Also, did you know that when you make advanced dining reservations on the Walt Disney World website or in the
My Disney Experience mobile app, you can make special dietary requests? In the My Disney Experience mobile app, search for the restaurant you plan to dine at, select a time, and press “Edit” next to “Dietary Requests” to select which foods your meal should be without.
I recommend noting that you have a special dietary request when you check in to the dining location and tell your server. Sometimes, they’ll have the Chef or manager come out to talk you through the menu or walk you through a buffet. I hope these tips help you have a magical and safe vacation. Please let us know if we can provide any other recommendations.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
