Hello, our trip begins on Wednesday😍. Never been to Fl in August before, so I wondered about what to pack for night time. Does it get chilly at night like it does here in Canada,or should I leave the jeans & sweaters at home? Thanks!

    Hi Michelle,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Florida in August is humid and rainy-trade your jeans and sweaters for umbrellas and rain jackets, as there's plenty of liquid sunshine during this time of year! As is the norm during Florida summers, there is rain expected almost daily for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort stay. I would recommend either bringing some rain gear along with you or planning on purchasing ponchos after your arrival. As a Florida residents, we each bring a backpack with us on our trips that has a small towel, a pair of flip flops or other sandals in case of a downpour, and a rain jacket. They have come in handy more than once during our adventures!

It usually stays warm here in the evening hours after the sun sets, so there's no need for you to bring cooler weather gear unless you are more comfortable flying in jeans or sleeves. Shorts or sundresses will undoubtedly be most comfortable for the heat and humidity of the sunshine state.

If you do get caught in a downpour, don't forget to hang up your rain gear when you return to your resort in the evening to allow it to dry overnight. Hope this helps you stay dry during your upcoming stay!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
