If my trip begins checking in at the hotel May 2, 2021, when I can start booking dining? I was told 60 days in advance, but I saw today (March 1), that it's not booking equivalently to May 1.

    Hi Alexis,

One of my favorite things about a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is all of the scrumptious FOOD! From delicious Mickey-shaped treats to cuisines from around the world and even out of this world, it's always fun to enjoy classic favorites and discover new flavors on our Disney vacations.

You heard right! Disney dining reservations DO become available 60 days in advance. Because it's counted by days, though, and not months, May 1st reservations would have become available on March 2nd, and availability for your visit would have begun on March 3rd. Hopefully you kept checking and were able to make all of your plans, but if not, feel free to peruse the fantastic choices and make your reservations now! If for some reason you weren't able to find the times or restaurants you were hoping for, I'd encourage you to keep checking back! Guests change their plans all the time, even all the way up until a day or two beforehand. Of course, if your tummy gets rumbly like Winnie the Pooh's at a time when you don't have any dining planned, there are also some fantastic dining tools available through the My Disney Experience mobile app. Did you know that you can join a walk-up waitlist at select table-service restaurants or even grab something yummy to go at both quick-service and table-service restaurants through mobile ordering? I'm sending some pixie dust that all your Disney dining wishes come true and you're able to enjoy some fantastic food during your visit!

I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that Disney Parks Blog recently released their Foodie Guide for the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Ohmygoodness...there are literally dozens of mouthwatering food and beverage options. You'll definitely want to save some room to try some of those incredible creations!

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Alexis, and please come see us again if you have any other questions as you're thinking through the details of your visit. I hope you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
