Hi, Moms! My trip to Aulani is less than three weeks away! We’ll be staying in a one-bedroom villa. I’ve got all the essentials ready to go but I’m wondering if there’s anything special or unique to pack for a villa stay that I might not know about? Thanks

    Hi there, Caitlin!

How exciting that you are so close to enjoying a true vacation paradise at Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa. You'll be there before you know it.

I can't think of anything particularly special or unique that you'll need for your 1-Bedroom Villa at the resort. Just about everything you could need to feel like you're home will be there waiting for you. There are always a few little extras that each family packs because it's something they're used to having at home that they would miss. Some of those little things include chip clips, to close snack or cereal bags when you've finished; laundry pods and dryer sheets (you will get a supply of laundry detergent, but no dryer sheets when you check in); goggles for the kids for the water; or bathroom air freshener.

Many of the items you might forget are available for purchase at Kalepa's Store. Located just off of the main lobby, the store has a selection of groceries, health and beauty products, and an assortment of other forgotten necessities. There's also an ABC store just a short walk from the resort, where you'll find groceries and other items that may have failed to find their way into your bag.

I wish you the most magical time during your visit to Aulani!

    Mahalo, Caitlin!
