On trip advisor the carribean beach resort got mixed reviews. We already have rooms booked there. Has anyone stayed there? Should we change hotels? Also, is the dinnign plan worth it if we do not plan on dinning in the parks for every meal?

    Hi Lauren,

I stayed at Caribbean Beach on my honeymoon and again last year with my family which included two teenage daughters. While this is a large resort, it is filled with activities and it is fine for guests with older children as it can be a walk to the food court. However, my children enjoyed the main pool and we had no issues with the room or walking to Old Port Royale for supplies:)

As for the Disney Dining Plan, it really depends on the age of your touring party and your eating styles. If you have children under the age of nine, it really is a good value because you can not feed them for the price of the plan for a day at Disney. If you like fine dining, it too is a good deal because you have locked in your price but have unlimited dining choices. If you have a small appetite or do not like to sit down for meals, you might want to think about skipping this option.

Also, the dining plan is offered at restaurants in the resorts so the options are limitless.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
