    Tried to get res for Chef Mickey. No Luck. Are there every cancellations or do you ever get lucky once you arrive at the park? Going 1st wk Dec. Have res for Askerhus at 8:30am before park opens? Is the transportation running before opening

    Hey Tammy!  Thanks so much for the great question.
    And actually yes, sometimes you can get lucky and find a cancellation.  My recommendation is to call everyday, if possible, to see if there have been any cancellations.  When you arrive in the Orlando area, also call reservations and check on availability.  And lastly, try stopping by CM and speaking with a reservationist.  In this case, persistence just might pay off for you.  But if it doesn't, don't fret because you will still be at WDW!
    Also, yes transportation will be available an hour before the park opens, so you should have no problem at all with your 8:30 AM ADR.
