Hi Natalie,
Welcome to planDisney!
It’s great to hear that you have your Theme Park tickets already linked in the
My Disney Experience mobile app, but I agree. It sounds like the names on the tickets are reversed.
You should be able to reassign the tickets to guests in your “Family & Friends List” within My Disney Experience. First, you’ll want to select the three horizontal lines in the lower right-hand corner of the app. Next, select the square titled “Tickets and Passes”, then scroll to your husband’s ticket. Under the ticket, there may be an option to “Reassign” the ticket and after it’s selected you can choose your son’s name from your “Family & Friends List” to add him to the child’s ticket. You’ll want to do the same thing for the adult ticket that should be attached to your husband's name.
In the meantime, you can also book your
Disney Park Pass reservations. These reservations go hand in hand with your Theme Park tickets and are currently needed for each day you visit a Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park. It should be okay to book them now so they’re in the system. Even if the names on the reservations have to be adjusted in the future, it's better to book them now since you'll be coming for a summer holiday.
If you can’t reassign the tickets within My Disney Experience, the next option would be to reach out to a Cast Member. I suggest you call either the
Walt Disney Travel Company (UK) or
My Disney Experience and MagicBands help desk (US) to see if they can reverse the names for you as well.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare to visit the Walt Disney World Resort for the
World’s Most Magical Celebration. If you have further planning questions, feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
