Hello Lorena!
Welcome to planDisney! I always feel more relaxed on my vacations when I know I have everything booked and ready to go. You are very wise to make your Advanced Dining Reservations before your arrival to the
Walt Disney World Resort. There are several reasons you could be hitting a glitch, and I have a few ideas of what might be happening. Hopefully, I can help you work it out!
Since your trip is just a little over 30 days away, you may find that many of the most popular locations are already booked. Guests may book at 6 AM Eastern Time 60 days in advance, and Guests of
Disney Resort Collection Hotels may book 60 days in advance of their check-in day and up to 10 days of their vacation. This means that even 60 days in advance, off-property Guests may find the most popular locations booked solid. So if you are searching only for specific locations, it very well may be that there is nothing available.
Also, I find using a desktop computer to search rather than the Mobile App will sometimes work better. If you are not seeing any reservations at all on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, try switching to the desktop version. I recommend you go to the
main Dining Reservation Page on My Disney Experience and search for the date and time, and not limit yourself to a specific dining location. Be flexible and willing to try something that maybe wasn't on your preferred list, or be willing to dine at less popular times. Search for a late lunch, or an early or late dinner for the best results. I also find that selecting an actual time, say 5:00 PM yields better results than selecting one of the meal options such as “Dinner.”
How large of a party are you trying to book? Currently, with COVID-19 precautions, most locations are not booking parties larger than 6, and those tables of 6 are hard to find. There are a few select locations that will take larger parties, but if you are searching for a party of more than 6, you may also see that no reservations are available. I’m not sure exactly what days you are searching for, but when I search for a party of 4 on October 29, 30, and 31, I see many options for both lunch and dinner. If you are trying to book a large group, you’ll need to book two or more smaller tables, and you’ll need to make a different adult as the lead reservation holder on each of them, as the same person cannot hold two reservations at the same time.
I hope one of these ideas helps you solve your issues, Lorena! Sending you pixie dust for those perfect reservations!
Have a Magical Day!
