I just tried calling 6 months out for a reservation to dine with an Imagineer but it’s sold out for the week I am there. Are there special tips to try to secure a reservation for future visits?

    Hi there, Danelle!

More challenging than Cinderella's Royal Table; more difficult than dining at Be Our Guest; even more elusive than dinner at 'Ohana - Dine With an Imagineer is probably the hardest reservation to come by at Walt Disney World. With an option to dine at either the Hollywood Brown Derby or Citricos, space is extremely limited for this informative and insightful multi-course meal. It can be frustrating, for sure.

    Here are my tips:

    • Check daily. Cancellations happen, and I've seen guests snag a reservation advance
    • Be flexible. Because this is not a daily event, check multiple days during your stay to increase your chance. Also, consider both locations.
    • Don't give up. Persistence is key to score this type of reservation. If it doesn't happen this trip, for next time, be online and on the phone on the very first day you can make these reservations, at the earliest second.
I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and wish pixie dust wishes that you may still get the reservation you want!

    Thanks for your question, Danelle.
