Hey there, Jason!
Or as they say on the
far away planet of Batuu, Bright Suns!
My family recently returned from a galaxy far, far away, and while we did not get to build our own Lightsaber, we saw so many amazing Lightsaber being toted around the park by Padawans and Jedis alike, that it got put on our Disney Bucket List.
Reservations for this
one-of-a-kind experience open 60 days in advance. You can make reservations online through the My Disney Experience Portal. Jason, if no reservations are available within that 60-day window, it is probably because they have already been booked.
Do not head over to the dark side just yet. Reservations are updated in near real-time, so while there may be nothing available now, I encourage you to keep checking. I was able to snag my Youngling a reservation to build a Droid at the
Droid Depot just a few weeks before our trip.
Because of the limited number of Jedis able to participate in the workshop, walk-ins are rarely accepted, although you may be able to get a same-day cancellation.
Good luck and may the force be with you.
