Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    I tried to book Coronado Springs for my upcoming vacation, but it was booked. Help! Do you have any other suggestions for a moderate resort?

    Coronado Springs is also my favorite Walt Disney World resort, so I can understand your disappointment that it was booked. There are several other great options though. 

    Port Orleans is a great moderate resort, especially if you love being around water, like you are at Coronado Springs. A hidden gem at Walt Disney World is the piano player that performs at Port Orleans nightly. You won't want to miss that! 

    You can also take a boat from Port Orleans to Downtown Disney. The kids get a kick out of this and it is always fun to try a new form of transportation!

    The theme of this resort is also wonderful! If you stay at this resort, try to score a princess room. The themeing is amazing! Between the sparkling fiber optic fireworks over the headboard, Aladdin's Magic Carpet on the rug and princess pictures in the room, it is truly special.
