Boo to you, Beverly.
I’m so glad your Doom Buggy took a detour and brought you here to planDisney today. Having a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the horizon during the spookiest time of year is more fun than a swinging wake with a host of playful spooks, don’t you think?
The good news is that there is trick-or-treating at Walt Disney World during the Halloween season, however, you must purchase tickets for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in order to partake. This extremely popular special event occurs on select nights from August through November this year and offers a host of spooktacular fun. Tickets are available for purchase now and often sell out, so you should snag tickets while you can. Let me offer you a few tips based on my experience attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party over the years in case you decide to attend.
First, get to
Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 p.m. The event technically begins at 7:00 p.m., but they allow Guests with event tickets to start entering Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00. This will give you a head start on the evening and plenty of time to check out the event guide and lay out a plan for your evening of fun. Speaking of, you should also be able to view the event guide ahead of time in your
My Disney Experience mobile app as well. There is usually a featured section for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on the home screen in the app. I usually peruse this before showing up so I can narrow down my list of must-dos for the event. Finally, view the second performance of
Mickey’s "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade instead of the first. It tends to be less crowded, so you are more likely to have a better view of the action.
We’ve got 999 happy questions here at planDisney, but there’s always room for 1,000 if you want to volunteer another one, Beverly. Have a spooktacular trip!
Hurry back,
Alyssa
