Jambo, Sarah, and thanks for allowing planDisney to lead your safari to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park! You arrive for your adventure soon, so let's talk about scheduling the most magical day ever.
I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who said the
Tree of Life Awakenings show depends on factors like sunset and weather, so it's challenging to set a fixed schedule. She said it typically begins after dark and runs every ten minutes until the park closes.
According to the current online calendar, Animal Kingdom
closes at 7:00 p.m. on January 24-25, an hour later than the rest of the week. I suspect this change in park hours could have the show schedule in flux. Since the animals' safety and well-being are top priorities, the team at this park keeps a flexible schedule. The Cast Member even cautioned that the show might not run every evening.
As a fellow planner, I realize you'd like a more concrete answer. It helps me when I remember that pixie dust makes Walt Disney World Resort go around, so when I catch an event like Tree of Life Awakenings, it's even more magical. I'm wishing on a jungle star that you get to enjoy a savannah full of enchantment while you're here!
Speaking of magic, I recently saw the
Zootopia: Better Zoogether show at Animal Kingdom. If you're a fan of this franchise, you'll love the new musical extravaganza under the Tree of Life. You might even see
Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde posing for photos near the attraction entrance!
Sarah, I hope you have a roaring good visit this week. Stop by
planDisney anytime! We're always happy to help, and I'm not "lion."
Magic awaits,
Elaine
