Hi Moms! Travelling with DH, DS7 & DS4. Trying to decide between POR royal guest room or POFQ pool view. We will be there for 5 nights starting Oct 29 then moving offsite fpr 10 nights. Have our tickets already for MNSSHP on Oct 31!! Thanks so much :)

    Allison,

That is a tough one. Personally I really like the French Quarter, but I think with those boys that being in the heart of the Port Orleans Riverside gives you slightly closer access to more activities and exploration areas that they would enjoy. Plus, I have never been a fan of pool view rooms at most resorts, as the afternoon and evening ambient noise from the pool can be a bit bothersome.

As for the princess-y quality of the Royal Guest Rooms, I don't think it is particularly over-frilly in a way that would make the boys not like it. Plus, you deserve a little princess time, don't you?

    Have a magical vacation!
