Hi Lenoy!
I love the
2017 Quick Service Disney Dining Plan (DDP). The Quick Service DDP includes two snacks and two quick service meals per guest, per night of your stay. The plan is customized for the ages of the guests in your party. Therefore if you have two adults, one child over three and one child under three, your DDP package will include two adult DDP and one child DDP, as the DDP is unavailable for guests under the age of three.
There are two reasons why you would be unable to use the Quick Service credit to get two drinks.
First, many of the children's quick service meals come with a drink, therefore the credit is structured as such. If the meal comes with a drink, than inherently you are redeeming both your entree and drink credits.
Second, the Quick Service meal credits are bundled in a package and can't be separated. Meaning you are unable to redeem just the entree portion of your plan and save the drink for a later use.
You can purchase your 1.5 year old a drink separately, or you can use your adult Quick Service Credit to get a milk instead of a bottle of water or soft drink, and then get a complimentary cup of tap water on the side. That would be a great way to have a drink for yourself and your son without paying extra.
Some of my favorite Quick Service dining options are
Pecos Bills,
Backlot Express and
Columbia Harbour House.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
