We are travelling to WDW in September 2016. My child has celiac and is on a gluten free diet. Is it possible to get a list of the gluten free options for counter service restaurants?

    HI Allison!

Congratulations on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World! One of the best things about Walt Disney World (WDW) is that they accommodate special diets and needs of all guests. You can visit Special Dietary Requests on the Disney website for information about dietary needs at WDW. Many of the Table Service and Quick Service dining locations offer gluten-free options.

A great resource for all of the gluten-free options is on the disneyfoodblog dot com. They have a list of all of the gluten-free options at the Quick Service and Table Service locations.

Some of the best gluten-free options include the fresh fruit, pickles and hummus at the many Quick Service stands throughout all parks. You can also find a Gardens Kiosk at Animal Kingdom which is staffed with Cast Members that will provide information to guests on special diets at the parks and they sell gluten-free snacks, including gluten free popcorn, granola bars, chips and veggies.

You can also email Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com if you would like more information about planning ahead for your daughter's gluten-free diet. They may be able to provide you with a full list of the gluten-free options.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
