Hi, Lisa! Thanks for bringing your splashtastic question to us! My daughters love to visit the Disney Water Parks during our summer visits. It is the perfect way to cool off from that Florida sun. Each of the water parks offer attractions suitable for all members of the family, even ones not quite ready to brave the larger rides on their own. While there are safety restrictions in place that prevent guests from going down slides together, there are many that allow for double-rider tubes or feature group tubes. Also, you will find water play areas perfect for guests under 48" tall with scaled-down slides and shallow play areas.
When our daughters were younger, we spent a lot of time at the two children's play areas, Ketchakiddee Creek and Tike's Peak. If your daughter is still smaller than the height restriction, be sure to check them out! The attractions I mentioned earlier that feature group tubes will be perfect for all of you. At Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park,
Gang Plank Falls and
Miss Adventure Falls allow four riders to hop in a tube together. At Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, you can pile up to six members of your family on
Teamboat Springs for lots of squealing and splashing fun. The parks' lazy rivers, Castaway Creek and Cross Country Creek, are also a great place to head for relaxing fun together. I do suggest you keep a close eye on your daughter when experiencing Typhoon Lagoon's Surf Pool as the current from the waves is pretty powerful, even as the waves get closer to shore.
I hope you have fun in the sun with your family, Lisa! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
