We will be travelling to WDW for the first time with my 6 yr old daughter and am torn on which resort to book. We are looking at the Coronodo Springs or Polynesian. thoughts?

    Hi Monica!

Its so hard to choose between Disney resorts, isn't it!! Even after you've visited a number of times, making that decision is still pretty difficult- they are all so unique!

Personally, if its in your budget, I would absolutely stay at the Polynesian! While Coronado Springs is a beautiful resort, our family would much rather have the convenience of the monorail resort. With the Magic Kingdom a short monorail or boat ride away, you'll have much more in park time - something that's hard to put a price tag on! You'll also have a quick walk to the Ticket and Transportation Center to hop on the monorail if you'd like direct access to Epcot (or you can easily choose to use monorails and transfer at the Ticket and Transportation Center to get to Epcot).

Both resorts have wonderful pool complexes and have wonderful theming. I do give the Polynesian pool a slight advantage since you can watch Wishes fireworks while you are in it! You'll also be able to see the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach by the pool as well.

I hope this helps you decide! You really can't go wrong with either choice but the Polynesian is truly wonderful!
