We will be travelling to WDW in Dec/08 and have purchased the meal package. Are tips included in the package? If not, how much would you suggest leaving? If it is based on the price of our meals, how would we find out what our bill would have been?

In general, gratuities are not included in the Disney Dining Plan in 2008.

Gratuities ARE included in the dining plan only for the following meals:
    - Cinderella's Royal Table
    - Dinner Shows (Hoop-Dee-Doo, Spirit of Aloha, and Mickey's Backyard BBQ)
    - In-room dining
    - Grand gathering meals

For each meal where the gratuity is not included, your server will provide you with a statement/check that provides the suggested amount for a tip (18% and 20% are calculated). This suggested gratuity will be calculated based on the pre-tax total cost of the food you were served. This tip can be paid by cash, credit card, Disney gift card, and/or charged to your room (if you are staying at a Disney resort) by using your Key To the Kingdom card.

    Hope that helps.
