Hi, we will be travelling to WDW in April 2011. However, my children will be turning 3 right in the middle of the trip. Do we have to pay for Theme Park tickets halfway through? Thank you

    Hi Kim,

I can think of no better place to celebrate your child's birthday than Disney World! We have also had a few trips where our boys turned three in the middle of the trip and you will be happy to hear, we did not need to purchase park admission tickets once our son turned three.

The age was based on the child's age at the beginning of the vacation and therefore a ticket was not needed. We have never had a problem with this and I can imagine you will find clear sailing for the birthday child. Be sure to ask for a birthday button for your little munchkin and be sure to let the hostess at any table service location know that there is a birthday child in your party.

    Have a magical time!
