chEARs Claire!
Thanks for crossing the pond to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My husband is Scottish, and his family travels from Edinburgh to
Walt Disney World every other summer (we are so excited to see them soon!), and one of their questions is always - what do I bring?? I completely understand - you want to make sure you have YOUR brand of special when you are coming for a long haul!
You are going to have a fantastic stay at
Disney’s BoardWalk Villas! We recently stayed there for my husband’s birthday, and the thing we love the most about the
Resort is its
location! You are an approximately 15-minute walk from
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and
Epcot’s International Gateway is five minutes in the opposite direction. If you don’t prepare your breakfast in the morning, head down to
BoardWalk Bakery for their delicious pastries and breakfast sandwiches.
The Villa kitchens have a 12 cup drip-style coffee maker that comes with a complimentary bag of Joffrey’s Coffee and filters. Just a quick caution - you didn't indicate whether you were staying
Club Level at the Resort. If you are in a Club Level room, the coffee maker is a Keurig style. To make sure that you have the correct
cuppa,
call (407) 939-2273 (US) or 0800 16 90 743 (UK) to double check before you pack your favorite grounds and filters. Either way, Mousekeeping will happily replenish the coffee service. Since you are traveling from overseas, consider having groceries delivered and include your favorite brand and filters with your order. There are several options for grocery delivery to your Resort, including Garden Grocer, Amazon Prime Now, and Instacart.
Claire, I wish you a Magical vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back with any additional questions.
