    We're travelling from the Uk for our daughter's wedding in August and staying e the Kidani Villas at Animal Kingdom lodge. I would like to book a hair appointment both on the day and a few days before and was wondering if there's a hair salon onsite.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that your daughter will be getting married this summer at The Most Magical Place on Earth, Walt Disney World! You are going to love the villas at Kidani Village. This is my family’s favorite resort. We love the peaceful atmosphere and exotic decor that transports us to a far off land. I truly enjoy coming home to the resort’s soft drumbeats and lantern light at the end of a busy vacation day.

    There is a spa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House, but they offer spa services only, and do not currently offer salon services. My best advice would be to contact Disney’s Fairytale Weddings. Your daughter should have a Disney Wedding Coordinator who should be able to arrange for you to have your hair done. This might be the most convenient option, especially for the special day itself.

    Full service beauty salons are available at a few resorts. Ivy Trellis is located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. If your daughter will be getting married at the Wedding Pavilion this would be a great location for you. I also think this is the easiest location to get to if you are using Disney’s complimentary resort transportation. From Animal Kingdom Lodge you would take a bus to the Magic Kingdom, then the Monorail or Boat to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. There is also Periwig Beauty & Barber Shop at Disney’s Yacht Club, and Casa de Belleaza Beauty Salon located at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. To make an appointment at any one of these salons call 1-407-WDW-SPAS.
